Description
We are seeking a Technical Lead to provide technical leadership for the design, development, and support of Node.js-based applications and services supporting the Expert Events platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Node.js applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to development teams.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive architecture, performance, security, and quality best practices.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams to deliver roadmap initiatives.
- Support production issue resolution, release planning, and platform modernization efforts.
- Contribute to Agile planning, estimation, and continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of Node.js development experience.
- Strong expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software engineering practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript, AWS/Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience supporting customer-facing applications in Agile environments.
