Description
We are seeking a proactive Janitor to maintain a clean and safe shopping environment for customers and staff. As a Janitor with ABM UK, you will be responsible for:
- Waste management in line with on-site processes and achieving recycling targets
- Operating on-site equipment including cardboard baler, waste compactor, pallet lifter, and ride-on sweeper
- Driving and operating company vehicles, including towing a trailer
- Maintaining cleanliness in back-of-house areas, corridors, and lifts
- Maintaining cleanliness in service yards and car parks
- Assisting clients and retailers with item disposal
- Participating in emergency situations, including Fire Warden tasks
- Working with on-site and ad-hoc contractors in a professional and courteous manner
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- High level of customer care awareness
- Manual handling capability
- Driving licence required
- Smart and well-presented appearance
