Senior Paralegal, Contracts

Join Carta's Contracts team in APAC as a Senior Paralegal, working with a Supervising Lawyer and a team of paralegals, lawyers, and AI agents. You'll manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, focusing on investment-related NDAs and documents.

The Problems You'll Solve As a Senior Paralegal, you'll work to:

• Keep contracts moving by owning prompt intake and first-round markup of documents
• Make the process more effective by supporting UK lawyers with drafting and ad hoc legal work
• Build reliable workflows for clients, managing document portals and driving contracts to execution
• Ensure high-quality contract support, balancing speed with attention to detail

About You

• 2+ years of experience in transactional legal work, preferably in a corporate practice group or in-house commercial legal team
• Hands-on exposure to commercial contracts and investment-related NDA drafting
• Ability to work in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with precision
• Strong grasp of relevant legal concepts and commercial pragmatism
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with a builder's mindset, looking for ways to improve team operations
• Familiarity with private markets and fund structures is a plus

Desirable Requirements

• Proficiency with AI-backed contract review tools like Carta Ava
• Language capability in Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin
