ClickHouse is hiring an EMEA People Business Partner Lead to be the primary strategic People partner to business leaders across the region.
By combining deep business partnership, organisational insight, and proactive People strategy, this role will help shape how the EMEA organisation evolves,not simply respond to the needs of the business as they arise.
What You'll Do
Strategic People & Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary People partner to our managers and leaders based in EMEA, deeply understanding their growth strategy, operating model, and organisational dynamics.
- Translate business priorities into proactive People and organisational strategies, bringing an independent point of view and identifying risks and opportunities early.
- Partner with leaders on complex organisational decisions and ensure People is embedded early in business planning.
Organisational Strategy & Effectiveness
- Partner with EMEA leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, role clarity, team effectiveness, and leadership capability.
- Identify patterns and systemic issues across teams and translate insights into recommendations and action.
- Use workforce, talent, and organisational data to inform performance, talent, succession, and organisational decisions.
People Strategy & Program Leadership
- Partner with global People teams to adapt programs for regional needs and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Drive adoption and effectiveness of People initiatives, bringing regional insights back to the global People organisation.
Global Partnership & Influence
- Serve as the strategic People partner to leaders navigating complex employee and organisational situations across EMEA.
- Partner with People Operations and Legal to navigate performance, conduct, organisational change, and other complex people matters.
- Identify patterns and proactively address broader organisational or leadership issues.
- Bridge EMEA leadership and the global People organisation, ensuring regional needs inform company-wide People strategy.
- Partner across People, Finance, Recruiting, Compensation, Legal, and other functions to align organisational and talent priorities with business needs.
- Influence across geographies and functions in a global, distributed environment.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in senior HR Business Partner or People leadership roles, ideally supporting complex, high-growth businesses across EMEA.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a deep understanding of a business and translate business strategy into proactive People and organisational strategy.
- Strong experience in organisational design, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness, talent strategy, and leadership partnership.
- Proven ability to influence senior business leaders and bring an independent, well-informed point of view to complex decisions.
- Demonstrated pattern recognition and judgment, with the ability to identify organisational risks and opportunities before they become visible problems.
- Experience developing or adapting People programs to meet business needs and driving adoption and measurable outcomes.
- Strong business acumen and curiosity, with a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates and what drives success.
- Experience working across global and distributed organisations, ideally with exposure to the complexity and diversity of EMEA markets.
- Strong relationship-building and influence skills across cultures, functions, and geographies.
- Comfortable operating independently in ambiguity and creating direction within their scope rather than waiting for direction.
