Description

We are seeking a trainee to join our Restructuring & Special Situations team. Our team is strategically positioned at the intersection of business, finance, and regulation, allowing us to provide global perspectives with local expertise. We work seamlessly across practice groups, countries, and time zones, combining different areas of expertise and international experience.

As a trainee in our Restructuring & Special Situations team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including contract negotiations, restructuring measures, and risk minimization. You will also have the chance to work with our innovative tools and techniques, such as the German insolvency law's new protective shield procedure.

We offer:

  • Diverse development opportunities through our HLC Next trainee program, including personal mentoring, training on the job, support with preparing for the second state exam, practice insights, interactive skills trainings, and numerous networking events
  • Flat hierarchies and a valuing and entrepreneurial working atmosphere
  • Employee networks, such as Pride+, Global Ability Inclusion Network, or women's networks
  • Various events on technical, social, and economic topics
  • Extensive wellbeing offers

Ideally, you have:

  • At least a satisfactory first state exam or a completed part of the first state exam at a German university
  • Interest in economic relationships and processes
  • Very good English language skills
