As an Inside/Outside Cable Plant Technician II you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on I/O CPT II joining our team to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunications systems.
- Leverage a Lead level of experience to perform inside/outside cable plant work.
Requirements:
- Education: AA/AS
- Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
- Required Technical Skills:
- Installation of ducts and conduits, pulling cables, and terminating, testing, splicing, and repairing interior and outside copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling
- Installation of fiber optic modems, fiber multiplex equipment, fiber patch panels, analog and digital copper patch panels, main and intermediate distribution frames,
- Installation of lightning protection and supporting ground and power connections
- Installation of cabinets, cable ladder and rack systems, and equipment components in the cabinets
- Security Clearance Level: SECRET
- Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with the operation of heavy equipment as specified in the task order to include: track excavator-changeable scoop/hydraulic jackhammer, standard backhoe, bobcat, cable reel truck, and 20K all-terrain forklift
- Location: On Customer Site
- US Citizenship Required - SECRET Clearance

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.52 - $37.95.
