Description
We are seeking an Experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team in O Fallon, MO. As a Customer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer purchase orders to assess requirements
- Process and maintain customer purchase orders, inputting in SAP (ERP) and portal management
- Interact with various positions in the warehouse and other functions such as Sales and Quality to ensure orders are resolved in an acceptable timeframe
- Prioritize orders with issues based on required ship date and perform analysis on whether orders can proceed without additional input
- Perform research in SAP (ERP) to potentially resolve order issues
- Review and action open orders that are pending resolution
- Ensure timeliness of shipment for critical orders through internal coordination and liaison with other functional stakeholders
- Monitor and expedite orders with high complexity and urgency
- Resolve customer claims with functional departments, determine root cause, recommend and implement corrective actions, and support Account Receivables with cash collection
- Maintain pipeline health on part usage/demand on existing contracts, programs, etc.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required
- Onsite at customer as needed
- Extensive customer-facing involvement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of work experience supporting internal and external customers
- Experience with large cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- 3+ years' experience working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the aerospace/aviation industry
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in numeric reasoning and mathematical skills
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $106,000.00
