Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our Distribution team in Pontefract. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in processing and fulfilling customer orders.
Hourly Rate:
- Day Rate: £12.99 - £13.30
- Night Rate: £15.58 - £15.89
You could also earn a performance bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Process unlabeled branded stock
- Move stock around, palletise stock using MHE
- Apply NEXT labels before packing items into delivery bags for direct customer fulfillment
- Open boxes of clothes from suppliers and hang them correctly on the right hanger
- Check and process returns
- Support other areas as needed
Requirements:
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy boxes up to 25kg
- Ability to work quickly and think decisively
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to working efficiently to meet targets
- Comfortable with moving around the warehouse or remaining in a stationary position for the duration of your shift
- Adaptability and willingness to contribute to different areas and adjust to changing needs
- Good eye for detail and attention to detail
- Desire to learn new skills and apply them where required
