Description
We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our high-performing ViiV Procurement team, responsible for the critical US ViiV business.
As a Procurement Manager, you will build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across the ViiV business, understanding their objectives, priorities, and business strategy to advise on how procurement can help achieve these goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy execution: Work with the ViiV commercial business to facilitate execution of their commercial strategies through procurement strategy and expertise.
- Benefit delivery: Ensure financial benefits are managed in accordance with the Savings methodology approach.
- Business partnering & stakeholder management: Build strategic relationships with ViiV stakeholders to understand business requirements and position Procurement’s value proposition.
- External supplier relationships: Execute and manage effective contracts with suppliers.
- Supply chain & risk management: Contribute to the transformation of the supply chain to release value and make ViiV more responsive to business and customer needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of procurement experience in a commercial business environment.
- Business stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience managing suppliers and driving business-impacting cost savings.
- Ability to articulate the value that procurement can bring to an organization.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Qualified to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent experience.
- Category experience within commercial areas.
- Experience working with Procure-to-Pay and Spend Analysis systems.
