Description
This role oversees all aspects of supply chain and operations for multiple complex product lines within the organization, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with organizational goals.
The Senior Manager, Supply Planning supervises and leads a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
Key responsibilities:
- Accountable for supply and demand activities for multiple complex product lines
- Manages a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers
- Ensures delivery of products and services meeting performance metrics defined by senior management
- Develops and executes strategies to optimize supply chain and operations functions
- Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making
- Creates new operational efficiencies and cost savings within the supply chain
- Leads regional/global business unit's trade compliance
- Oversees development and delivery of complex initiatives impacting the supply chain globally
- Serves as a liaison between internal resources and external partners
- Participates in hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development
Education and experience recommended:
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field
Preferred certifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Certified Professional In Supply Management (Standards Organizations)
