Description
We are seeking a skilled GFX Trader to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. As a GFX Trader, you will be responsible for the execution of client orders and risk management of FX products within Japan, in cooperation with Coverage, Structuring, Research, and Infrastructure partners.
Our GFX team serves the needs of our customers across the full product spectrum from basic liquidity provision in the spot market to innovative derivative solutions for both asset and liability managers.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop the GFX franchise in Japan, regionally in APAC, and through partnering globally across the FIC franchise. You will interact with clients, sales, and internal counterparties in other trading, coverage, and structuring functions to generate new business and build market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute client orders and manage risk of FX products within Japan
- Grow and develop the GFX franchise in Japan, APAC, and globally
- Interact with clients, sales, and internal counterparties to generate new business and build market share
- Increase market transparency and generate new business
- Build a sustainable business and manage market share
- Manage financial and non-financial risks
Requirements:
- Knowledge of asset close FX, including derivatives exposure
- Experience as a trader and revenue generation
- Risk management skills
- Quantitative skills
- Knowledge of capital and regulatory matters in both cash and derivative products
- Strong communication and influencing skills in English and Japanese
- JSDA1 qualification holder preferred
