Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Storage & Data Services Account Executive to join our team.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for leading the pursuit of storage products and solutions in your assigned territory. You will collaborate with and support Account Generalists, provide storage expertise within the sales team, and drive proactive campaigns to build the pipeline.
Key responsibilities include:
- Seeking out new opportunities through prospecting, industry networking, and events
- Developing pursuit plans and building and managing the storage sales pipeline
- Contributing to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings
- Working closely with and supporting the Account Manager, providing technical expertise and support
- Directing and coordinating supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene
- Collaborating across HPE teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business
- Assessing solution feasibility from a technical and business perspective to qualify/disqualify opportunities
- Negotiating profitable deals to expand opportunities and increase revenue
- Driving sales of the Storage portfolio, using strong leadership and initiative to successfully prospect, negotiate, and close deals
- Focusing on and working with the channel to forge relationships, provide enablement of key technologies, and co-sell to end-users
- Effectively leading, evangelizing, and helping to coordinate Storage marketing campaigns
- Acting as a trusted storage solutions consultant for the slated accounts/region
- Reinforcing and articulating HPE's strategy and portfolio to partners and champions
- Effectively using references to craft a story that makes complex technologies seem simple and understandable for customers
- Actively generating customer interest and understanding the customer's buying trends
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant hunting IT sales experience
- Experience with Dell, Hitachi, NetApp, Vast, and Everpure
- Enterprise storage-related sales experience
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred

Salary range: CAD 233,000 - 467,000 per year
