Description
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technical Lead to drive end-to-end quality strategy, governance, and execution across assigned products or programs.
The successful candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering roles, strong experience in leading QA teams and managing end-to-end quality delivery, and deep expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy, and automation frameworks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and executing end-to-end QA strategy aligned with product, business, and customer requirements
- Leading test planning, execution, regression cycles, and defect triage across projects and releases
- Ensuring validation of complex, end-to-end business workflows including underwriting, policy servicing, and rule-based calculations
- Driving risk-based testing approaches to prioritize critical functionalities and reduce production defects
- Establishing and enforcing QA standards, frameworks, and best practices across teams
- Monitoring and analyzing quality metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage, and execution efficiency
- Leading root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality
- Providing technical oversight for test automation across UI, API, and integration layers
- Driving automation-first strategy, increasing coverage and reducing manual effort
- Integrating QA processes with CI/CD pipelines to enable faster and more reliable release cycles
- Collaborating with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure environment readiness, data setup, and release validation
- Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for system architecture, integrations, and configuration-driven implementations
- Presenting quality metrics, release readiness status, and risk assessments to stakeholders
- Mentoring and developing QA team members, improving technical and domain capabilities
- Fostering cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between QA, Development, Product, and Client Delivery
- Driving adoption of AI-driven testing practices, including intelligent automation and efficient regression strategies
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering roles
- Strong experience in leading QA teams and managing end-to-end quality delivery
- Deep expertise in QA methodologies, test strategy, and automation frameworks
- Strong domain knowledge in Life Insurance and Annuities
- Experience with tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Jira, TestRail, Jenkins, and API testing tools
- Hands-on experience integrating QA with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, and complex workflows
- Experience in risk-based testing, defect management, and root cause analysis
- Proven ability to analyze quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing QA teams
- Experience leveraging AI tools for testing, automation, and productivity improvements is a plus
