Description
Capital One's Enterprise Payment Operations organisation seeks a senior leader to oversee the ACH Operations team. As Sr. Director, ACH Operations, you will ensure accurate and timely processing of ACH payments, manage risk, and resolve discrepancies while adhering to compliance regulations.
You will be responsible for all file processing during Fed processing hours, handling returns and exceptions, and driving simplification, automation, and modernisation efforts across critical business processes. You will partner with ACH initiation teams and advise on payment rail capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day ACH network operations
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of ACH payments
- Managing risk and resolving discrepancies
- Influencing simplification, automation, and modernisation efforts
- Partnering with ACH initiation teams across all Capital One lines of business
- Leading through incidents, risk events, audits, and exams
- Defining the future agenda for the ACH payment rail
- Engaging in NACHA and other key industry forums to represent Capital One's perspective
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 5 years of financial services experience
- At least 5 years of people management experience
- At least 7 years of experience in risk management, payments, project management, process management, operations, or a combination
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years ACH experience
- PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
- NACHA certifications
- At least 3 years experience leading through technology transformation for an operational team
- At least 10 years of experience serving in a strategic initiatives, risk management, payments, operations, or project management lead role in a large, matrixed organisation
Salary ranges:
- McLean, VA: $229,700 - $262,100
- Richmond, VA: $208,800 - $238,300
- Riverwoods, IL: $208,800 - $238,300
- Wilmington, DE: $208,800 - $238,300
