Description
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our Leonardo.ai team, which is part of Canva's Sales & Success group. As an Account Executive, you will focus on building relationships and closing deals with German-speaking customers across Germany and the DACH region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with potential customers, understanding their creative workflows and needs, and shaping tailored Leonardo.ai solutions to match
- Proactively prospecting and reaching out to target organisations, such as game studios, creative agencies, media companies, and global brands
- Preparing and delivering pitches and demos, running a structured discovery process, and connecting customer challenges to Leonardo.ai's features
- Navigating enterprise buyers' questions about generative AI, such as security, IP, and responsible use, and working closely with Legal and Security to get deals across the line
- Tracking every stage of your pipeline in our CRM and handing over new customers to our Success team in great shape
- Partnering with Marketing on events and campaigns that drive new business and sharing customer feedback that helps shape the Leonardo.ai product roadmap
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A few years of B2B sales experience, ideally managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through to close, with a track record of hitting or beating your targets
- Experience initiating conversations with senior stakeholders and holding your own in a room with multiple decision-makers
- Ability to turn a complex product into a simple, compelling story for the customer
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle a pipeline of opportunities
- Curiosity about generative AI and creative tools, and excitement to keep learning in a fast-moving space
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
