We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Richmond Village in Aston-on-Trent, Derby.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our team to deliver person-centred care, promoting independence and honouring choice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with clinical, social, and emotional care
- Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
- Answering emergency bells or calls from residents and summoning senior care staff when necessary
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, washing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Supporting residents with mobility problems and helping them use aids and equipment
- Providing companionship and support to residents
- Communicating with residents' families, friends, and healthcare professionals
