Description
We are seeking a skilled Translation Specialist to join our team in Spain on a full-time basis.
The role focuses on delivering high-quality translations across various content types using standard CAT tools and adhering strictly to client-specific guidelines and processes.
Main Duties:
- Perform translations in one or more translation tools for assigned clients and projects
- Translate various types of content, such as marketing, help, UI, or regulated content
- Support the team with copy-edit tasks on selected content types
- Master the standard CAT tools and tools associated with translation work for internal clients
- Precisely follow the established translation process and style guide
- Improve based on corrections made by senior team members and client reviewers
- Keep track of personal error statistics and work on weak spots
- Take part in internal trainings and client-organized trainings
- Participate in the error arbitration process and meet KPIs in terms of productivity, on-time delivery, and quality
- Constantly analyze own gaps and think of ways senior members can provide assistance
Requirements:
- University degree in Translation/Applied Languages/Linguistic Studies or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Native fluency in Spanish and Catalan
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- 0-2 years of experience in translation or creating easy-to-read texts
- Passion for the world of language and technology
- Ability to work within a virtual team
