We are seeking an Assistant Surveyor to join our Health and Life Sciences Advisory (HLSA) team in London. As an Assistant Surveyor, you will work on complex health and life sciences estate programmes, gaining exposure to various property advisory disciplines such as estate strategy, valuation, and development consultancy.
The HLSA team helps healthcare providers, public sector organisations, and life sciences clients create the estates and infrastructure needed to deliver better services, improve patient outcomes, and support future growth. You will work alongside experienced property consultants and surveyors, contributing to high-profile advisory commissions and accelerating your professional development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting major NHS Trusts and public sector organisations in transforming their estates and optimising property portfolios.
- Contributing to development appraisals, business cases, and investment strategies.
- Providing consultancy advice on leases, ownership, and legal title occupation.
- Assisting qualified surveyors in preparing and delivering Red Book valuations.
Requirements:
- Experience or genuine interest in property consultancy, estate strategy, valuation, or transactions.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in real estate or equivalent accredited by RICS.
- Confidence in supporting workshop preparation, stakeholder engagement, and project meetings.
- Enthusiasm for developing client relationships and delivering high-quality professional advice.
