Description
We are currently looking for a Storage Sales Specialist for our Data Solutions Team Switzerland, based in Zurich.
As a Storage Sales Specialist, you will engage daily with existing and new customers, independently and in close collaboration with HPE's channel partners, supported by technical solution architects. You will leverage HPE's marketing engine and work with channel partners to identify target accounts and develop initiatives to win new customers for HPE Storage Solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and managing a well-founded, long-term pipeline to increase HPE's market share in the Swiss market.
- Applying a consultative and challenger selling approach to engage business and IT decision-makers.
- Developing a deep understanding of customers' business drivers and translating their requirements into sustainable HPE business.
- Fostering and expanding existing relationships while developing new relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
- Leading opportunities throughout the entire sales lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Academic degree in business administration, technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant sales experience in the Storage, Data Solutions or broader IT Infrastructure industry.
- Very good knowledge of the Storage and Data Services market.
- Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline and apply sales excellence.
- Strong customer orientation with a consultative and challenger selling approach.
- Excellent business and financial acumen, combined with strong technology knowledge.
- Collaborative, team-oriented and results-driven working style.
- Creativity, initiative and reliability.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and closing skills.
- Business fluency in (Swiss) German and English.
