Description
Join our friendly team at Co-op Funeralcare in Yeovil as a Funeral Arranger on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 18.75 hours per week. You'll earn £13.47 per hour, plus benefits including a competitive salary, excellent pension scheme, and discounts on Co-op products and services.
As a Funeral Arranger, you'll build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community, supporting them in person and over the phone. You'll arrange family visits, answer client questions, and ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming. You'll also work with digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and the community

- Assisting with manual handling of coffins and preparing the deceased for viewing
- Updating client management applications with accurate and timely information
You'll need:
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and invoicing
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in using computers, tablets, and smartphones
- Empathy, discretion, and care when interacting with clients and handling sensitive situations
- Physical ability to carry out tasks such as moving coffins
