Description
You will be working in a team that buys raw materials for Morrisons' manufacturing sites, which include meats, fruits, vegetables, fish, and flowers. You will gain an understanding of seasonal variations and work with the team to plan and buy according to customer demand.
During the placement, you will work with supply chain partners or customers, understanding the end-to-end buying process of sourcing, sales, planning, commercial finance, and new product development. You will look at market insights and propose new business or review current products to meet demands.
