Description

The Decision Advantage - Defense Business Area at Leidos has an opening for an experienced Code Development and Test Engineer. In this mission, you will support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) to field and operate the customer's Digital Infrastructure.

The work location for this position is our office in Orlando, FL, and requires daily on-site support at this location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Digital Infrastructure Network Integration Lab (DI-NIL) architecture and services, including RHEL, Windows, and other systems and appliances.
  • Ensure code needed for provisioning and rapid deployment of the SIL space and connected systems meets strict compliance required by DoD guidance.
  • Develop automated test and validation scripts to ensure system capabilities are configured for optimum performance.
  • Document code utilised within the environment and process flow documentation.
  • Work with customers to ensure the needed environment is configured properly and access has been configured to allow a least privilege concept.

Basic Qualifications:

  • US citizen with at least a Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Possess DoD 8140 IAT Level II certification Security+.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of coding concepts and applying these concepts to Department of Defense programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance during employment with Leidos.
  • Prior experience working on ABMS or JADC2 initiatives.
  • 4 years of DoD-based system security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation.
  • Prior experience designing and deploying networks.
  • Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence).

Pay Range: $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
