Description
We are seeking a skilled Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to help embed the standards and capability that keep our expanding operations safe, compliant and sustainable.
As a Regional Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist, you will own and implement the site EHS plan, turning policy and legislation into clear priorities and controls. You will bring the global EHS strategy to life in everyday work on site, making sure teams are well supported and equipped with the toolkit to advance site EHS performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and implementing the site EHS plan
- Leading by example with site teams and contractors
- Supporting the site assurance programme
- Supporting local teams in incidents and near-misses
- Applying and upholding the standard for construction, commissioning, operations, decommissioning and other high-risk activity
- Reviewing site EHS data and performance metrics
- Supporting the environmental and sustainability agenda
- Representing Nebius locally with regulators, contractors and partners
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma / Certificate level, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, plus 3+ years' Environmental, Health & Safety experience
- Strong working knowledge of country legislation
- Proven experience leading incident response and investigations
- A track record of building trust and credibility with stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
