Description
Nebius is seeking an experienced Regional Environmental, Health & Safety Manager to set the direction, standards and capability that keep its expanding operations safe, compliant and sustainable.
The successful candidate will be a decisive, credible leader who owns the regional EHS agenda, sets strategy, builds a high-performing team, and acts as the trusted voice of EHS at leadership level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and owning the regional EHS plan, turning policy and legislation into clear priorities and controls for sites
- Translating the global EHS strategy into everyday practice across the region
- Leading, managing and developing local teams
- Acting as the senior EHS voice with regional and site leadership
- Owning regional governance and assurance
- Taking personal command of major incidents and crises
- Setting the standard for construction, commissioning, operations and other high-risk activity
- Owning the regional EHS performance narrative
- Reviewing EHS data and performance metrics regularly
- Supporting the wider environmental and sustainability agenda
- Representing Nebius with regulators, industry bodies and partners
Requirements include:
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, plus 6+ years' Environmental, Health & Safety experience
- Deep working knowledge of country and regional legislation
- A genuine subject-matter expert with experience supporting incident response and investigations
- Proven experience influencing senior stakeholders and holding them to account
- Experience coaching and developing teams and capability
- Strong commercial and organisational judgement
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- 8+ years' experience in international or multi-site regulatory environments
- Experience within data centres, critical infrastructure, construction, engineering, commissioning or other high-risk environments
- Chartered status or equivalent
- Experience managing regional budgets and cross-site resourcing
