Description
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team at 3M's Diem Thuy Industrial Park in Thai Nguyen Province, Vietnam.
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring equipment, overseeing processes, and maintaining optimization of the production line. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring equipment, including regular testing and ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out
- Oversight of processes and working to maintain optimization of the production line
- Assisting Process Technicians in troubleshooting in the event of a problem
- Data collection, interpretation, and report writing
- Presentation of data and reports to senior colleagues and management
- Risk assessments of the equipment and processes being used
- Continual evaluation of equipment and processes to ensure both efficiency and quality remain high
- Developing new processes/technologies to improve yield and cost
- Being responsible for product quality
- Communicating with customers regarding customer complaints
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline (Master's preferred)
- English communication skills (writing, reading, listening, speaking)
- 5+ years of experience working as a process engineer or quality engineer
- Critical/logical thinking and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills
