Description

At TEKEVER, we lead innovation in Europe as the European leader in unmanned technology. We are looking for Procurement Commodity Specialists to work closely with our Engineering teams to ensure that our product designs are supported by a robust, scalable, and commercially viable supply chain.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle, from early concept through to production.
  • Engage with engineers early to understand technical requirements, performance specifications, and design intent.
  • Provide supply chain input into component and technology selection.
  • Assess whether proposed components, materials, and technologies have a viable and scalable supply base.
  • Challenge design decisions where there are significant cost, availability, capacity, lifecycle, or supplier risks.
  • Identify alternative components, technologies, and suppliers where appropriate.

  • Support Design Reviews, Technical Reviews, and New Product Introduction activities.
  • Establish early supplier engagement where specialist technology or manufacturing capability is required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in strategic procurement, commodity management, sourcing, or supply chain within a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working directly with Engineering or technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of supplier manufacturing capabilities and supply chain risks.

  • Experience engaging suppliers during product development.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on cost and supply.

  • A highly competitive salary with a discretionary annual bonus and a company pension contribution match of up to 10%.
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • Private Medical Insurance (with optional family cover).
  • Private Dental care.
