As a Trading Manager at Morrisons, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked and our customers have a fantastic shopping experience.
You will report directly to the Store Manager and bring a hands-on approach to managing store-wide trading routines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, planning promotions, and acting on customer feedback to keep standards high.
- Managing shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training so colleagues have the confidence to work flexibly across departments.
- Driving performance and availability, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against all operational and sales targets.
- Planning resources thoroughly, managing daily team routines, and building strong working relationships with other store departments.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment, be confident in running shifts and handling daily trading priorities, and be able to step up as Manager in Charge when required. You will also need to be a natural communicator, share knowledge, and deal with everyday challenges calmly to keep the team working well together.
