About the Job
As a Supply Chain Specialist in Taiwan, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring Graphcore's AI manufacturing operations run smoothly by managing the supply chain effectively.
You'll be responsible for turning approved requirements into reliable day-to-day supply execution, preventing material discrepancies from disrupting production, and coordinating with various teams, including Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics.
Your tasks will include managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, supporting accurate goods receipt in the ERP system, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and communicating with suppliers and internal teams.
The Team and Culture
You'll join the Supply Chain team within Operations, working closely with colleagues in Taiwan and Bristol, UK. You'll collaborate with suppliers, receiving, warehouse, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless deliveries and receipts.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Practical experience in supply chain, procurement operations, materials management, or logistics
- Confidence using ERP or MRP systems to maintain accurate supply chain records
- Good Excel skills and attention to detail to spot discrepancies in quantities, dates, and documentation
- Strong organisation and follow-through, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication with suppliers, logistics providers, and colleagues across different functions
- A proactive approach to identifying delivery risks, investigating issues, and seeing resolutions through
