Description
As a Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant at Morrisons in Glasgow, you will work closely with pharmacists to support the health and wellbeing of local communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging with customers in a compassionate manner, providing guidance on medication and answering queries.
- Accurately labelling, assembling, and performing initial accuracy checks on prescribed medicines.
- Delivering in-store health services such as blood pressure checks and health screenings.
- Maintaining a safe and legal working environment by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures and data security protocols.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Approved pharmacy qualifications, such as completion of the NPA DAC course.
- Registration or active pursuit of registration as a practicing Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- A caring and compassionate attitude towards customers.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
