Description
We're looking for an Advanced IT Technician to join our team in Lappeenranta, Finland.
As a Datacenter L2 IT technician, you will troubleshoot and solve data center IT hardware issues, working at the intersection of multiple technical and operational domains.
Responsibilities:
- Solve challenging hardware-related issues with servers, involving in-depth advanced-level troubleshooting
- Manage hardware problems, workarounds, and solutions
- Proactively handle L1/L2 tasks through the ticket system
- Update new processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
- Collaborate with L3 Technicians to improve SLA with complex diagnostics
- Improve support processes, documentation, and training materials
- Perform basic-level network tasks, troubleshooting, and support
Requirements:
- Knowledge of datacenters and server equipment
- Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and practical experience of troubleshooting
- Advanced skills working with Unix/Linux operating systems and command line
- Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presentation
- Proactiveness and sense of responsibility
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of network equipment and troubleshooting at an advanced level
- Driving license type B
