Description
The Senior Leadership Development Manager plays a critical role in MongoDB's growth by identifying critical skills, designing innovative learning experiences, and ensuring People Managers develop the capabilities needed to succeed. This role is part of the Culture, Talent, and Development (CTD) leadership team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and evaluate scalable leadership development experiences for people managers
- Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of a director-level leadership development program serving over 500 leaders
- Conduct needs assessments and align program deliverables with business objectives
- Extend learning beyond the classroom through practice, reflection, and peer connection
- Establish and execute a practical measurement approach to evaluate program effectiveness
- Orchestrate concurrent projects and stakeholder relationships
- Partner with IT and People Team stakeholders to co-build AI-supported development experiences
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in leadership development
- Strong track record of delivering strategic and tactical solutions in fast-paced environments
- Proven ability to design and scale development experiences for senior leaders
- Adept at conducting needs assessments and analyzing data
- Excellence in learner experience, instructional, and program design
- Expert facilitation skills and deep subject matter expertise in leadership development
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and project management skills
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience coaching Senior Leaders
- Holds a coaching certification from ICF, CPCC, Hogan, or comparable accreditation
- Previous experience managing people in a direct manager capacity
- Experience leveraging AI-supported platforms to scale training initiatives
