Syneos Health is seeking a Director/Senior Director, Strategy & Delivery to lead the development and execution of study and customer engagement strategies in the General Medicine - Rare Disease therapeutic area, focusing on Rheumatology, Dermatology, Rare General Medicine Diseases, Nephrology, and Gastroenterology (GI).
The successful candidate will have extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company, with deep knowledge of global drug development and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing study and customer engagement strategies that align with customer objectives
- Leading pre-award activities, including account planning, proposal strategy, proposal development, and Bid Defense Meetings
- Ensuring seamless transition from pre-award through study execution
- Leading and developing high-performing cross-functional teams
- Managing financial performance across assigned opportunities
- Promoting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in life sciences, nursing, or equivalent education or experience
- Extensive clinical research experience
- Deep knowledge of global drug development and regulatory requirements
- Strong understanding of therapeutic landscapes and industry trends
- Proven leadership in complex, matrixed environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated operational and financial acumen

The salary range for this position is $134,400.00 - $306,500.00.
