Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a hardworking and committed individual to join our team as a Band 6 Paediatric senior staff nurse, providing high-quality care in our busy and fast-paced Paediatric Emergency Department.
The Paediatric ED team works closely together to deliver high-quality care to over 27,000 children and their families each year, collaborating with the Adult ED, Urgent Care Centre, Same Day Emergency Care, PATCH team, and inpatient paediatric services.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will deliver efficient and compassionate nursing care to patients attending the department, support the shift leader and senior nursing management in delivering excellence, minimise risk, and maintain patient safety within the scope of your practice.
You will be expected to practice evidence-based nursing, actively participate in the progression of emergency nursing, be flexible in working practices to meet the needs of the service, and endorse and support senior management in achieving national targets.
