Description
We are recruiting Senior Staff Nurses with Emergency department experience to join our team at St Mary's Hospital Paddington.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will carry out planned care for a group of patients without supervision, ensure the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, individualized patient care, assist and advise staff in the delivery of patient care, and maintain accurate clinical observations of patients.
In terms of management responsibilities, you will plan, organise, and deploy staff according to ability and workload to meet patient needs, manage effective flows of patients within Emergency Services to meet NHS targets, communicate effectively, and demonstrate an awareness of the economical use of resources.
The role also involves teaching and health education, including assessing the needs of patients, relatives, and carers, providing them with information, assisting in the teaching and development of nursing assistants, students, and junior staff, and acting as a role model and mentor.

The salary for this role is £47,951 to £56,863 a year, and the post is permanent and full-time.
