Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, driving tangible, impactful results for clients. The Director, Specialized Consulting, VCA-X, serves as a domain leader within VCA-X, ensuring specialist expertise is applied effectively across engagements.
Core responsibilities of the role include:
- Specialized Consulting Leadership: serving as the lead specialist for assigned domains and use cases, providing specialist judgement and guidance on complex engagements, and supporting consulting delivery teams in applying methodologies.
- Delivery Quality & Client Readiness: establishing delivery standards, quality expectations, and review processes, ensuring outputs are commercially relevant and supported by sound specialist judgement.
- Practice Area Partnership & Methodology Enablement: partnering with Practice Areas to operationalize established methodologies, supporting validation of new use cases, and identifying opportunities to improve delivery approaches.
- Expertise Development & Continuous Learning: defining specialist expertise and consulting capabilities, capturing learnings from engagements, and translating them into improved methodologies and delivery approaches.
The role requires 15+ years of experience in consulting, advisory services, or related fields, demonstrated success leading complex client engagements, and strong consulting toolkit including structured problem solving and analytical reasoning.
