Description
Recorded Future is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support its Japan sales organization. The successful candidate will have substantial technical expertise in the security domain and experience in proposing security products and services. They will work closely with the Account Director to understand customer challenges and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business challenges, goals, and technical requirements
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers, enabling them to make informed decisions
- Collaborate with the Account Director to plan and execute sales strategies, providing feedback after each meeting
- Showcase the company's value proposition, leveraging technical strengths to differentiate from competitors
- Conduct customized demos that drive business outcomes for customers
- Develop Proof of Value (PoV) strategies to demonstrate Recorded Future's value
- Create business cases and ROI materials to support customer decision-making
- Gather information and create outputs that consider the customer's workflow
- Develop content to enhance the SE team's capabilities
- Mentor new SEs and participate in candidate interviews
Qualifications:
- Experience in technical sales or proposal development in a security company
- Strong cybersecurity background, with the ability to discuss technical topics with customers
- Experience in collaborating with sales teams to drive new business opportunities
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts
- Experience in solution development, implementation, or operational activities
- Background in security-related fields, such as SOC operation, vulnerability assessment, or incident response
