Description
Freshfields LLP, a renowned Anglo-Saxon business law firm based in Paris for over 50 years, is seeking a highly motivated intern to join its dynamic Competition practice group.
As an intern in our team of around 20 professionals, you will collaborate closely with colleagues on diverse cases, working with French and international clients across various sectors such as luxury goods, sports, new technologies, banking, agri-food, energy, telecoms, and consumer goods.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting pleadings, comments, memoranda, and contracts in French and English
- Conducting in-depth legal research on competition law, restrictive practices, foreign investment law, distribution law, personal data protection law, and consumer law
To excel in this role, you should:
- Be pursuing or have completed studies in Business Law, with an excellent academic record
- Possess a high level of English proficiency to effectively communicate with international clients
- Demonstrate strong analytical and synthesis skills, attention to detail, and organisational abilities
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team
