Description
We are seeking a Technical Engineering Lead to join our Cryptographic Services team. You will lead the development of our hardware-rooted cryptographic asset lifecycle platform, ensuring high-assurance and self-service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a cryptographic asset registry, including key and certificate inventory, lifecycle tracking, and usable interfaces
- Instrument and govern the registry with telemetry, audit evidence, and policy-based authorization
- Own signing flows end-to-end, including job type design, API and CLI surfaces, and customer experience
- Support post-quantum production signing, including ML-DSA dual signing and hybrid flows
- Develop agent-assisted paths for self-service and measure deflection rate, time to first signature, and onboarding time
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience building and operating production software with real availability expectations
- Strong hands-on engineering skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar, across the full stack of a cloud service
- Working knowledge of applied cryptography, including PKI, key management, digital signatures, and HSM-backed systems
- Practical experience applying AI and agentic workflows to real engineering problems
- Clear written communication and proactive habits
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with code signing, HSM-backed key management, or software supply chain security
- Experience replacing a ticket-driven process with genuine self-service
- Interest in growing into broader technical leadership

- Competitive salary: $184,000 - $287,500 (Level 4) or $224,000 - $356,500 (Level 5)
