Description
We are seeking exceptionally talented individuals to join our International Private Bank as a Professional in the Hong Kong Market Team. You will work closely with our Client Advisors to provide support in all facets of daily business routine, whilst maintaining awareness of, and sensitivity to the confidential nature of Private Banking clients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor client accounts and assist with daily account administration
- Help manage account opening / onboarding process
- Support Client Advisors in Know-Your-Client documentation and processes and Suitability assessments and reporting
- Own the full trading life-cycle, from pre-trade checks, trade execution to booking and post-trade checks
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of all asset classes and products offered by the Private Bank
- Manage documentation (Alternatives, Suitability, Investment Parameters, OTC etc.)
- Act as a primary contact with external clients for day-to-day account administration, servicing, execution of investment securities and products
- Partner with the Client Service team and any other member of the broader team in the daily management of Accounts and Credit facilities
- Assist advisors in preparation for client meetings, help prepare and provide analysis of investment performance or other client presentations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business or equivalent in any discipline
- Minimum 1 year of client service and/or relationship manager support experience in Private Bank, with background in brokerage and/or trading
- Dynamic and independent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Ability to work under tight market deadlines and accuracy in executing Clients’ directed orders
- Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential matters
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Self-starter, extremely organised and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
- Appropriate local regulatory qualification
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills, with proficiency in Cantonese
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in Mandarin
