Description
We’d love you to join us at the London Borough of Hounslow as our Electric Vehicle Programme Manager. You’ll oversee the delivery of over 2,000 new charging points as part of our ambitious EV Strategy.
The role involves procuring operators, managing the delivery programme, communicating benefits to residents, liaising with stakeholders, and evaluating project outcomes.
You’ll manage a team of Project Managers/Officers and work closely with colleagues to ensure the programme's success. This is a great opportunity to develop your EV and programme management experience.
About the Team You'll be working in the Programme & Strategy team within the Transport & Parking division. The team delivers strategic transport projects, including the EV Programme, Kerbside Strategy, and Parking Strategy.
About You If you have:
- Excellent knowledge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure planning and delivery, including DfT, OLEV, and TfL guidance
- A strong track record of managing complex transport improvements in urban settings
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience of managing people and contracts to deliver projects
