Description
Deliveroo's Enterprise Systems Engineering team builds and runs the tools employees use daily: Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, identity, and device management. The team's priorities include platform consolidation and integration, employee-focused AI tooling, communication and collaboration platforms, and building tools and automation to remove manual work.
You will take on projects ranging from clearly scoped to ambiguous, working with senior engineers to break down harder ones, and growing your ability to do that over time. Responsibilities include:
- Building automation and tooling to remove manual work from SaaS and identity platforms
- Administering and supporting platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian
- Writing clear documentation for the work you do
- Working with teammates and stakeholders to understand requirements before building
- Using GenAI tools to automate repeatable parts of your work
- Building technical depth in one or more of the team's core platform areas
Requirements:
- Solid experience with enterprise SaaS platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian
- Experience with identity and SSO systems like Okta
- Software engineering or scripting skills in Python, Go, JavaScript, or other general-purpose languages
- Proficiency in using AI coding tools in the full software development lifecycle
Good to have:
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Exposure to device management and VDI
- Knowledge of data security and identity best practices
- Experience troubleshooting browser-based applications
- Experience with Google Workspace developer tools
