Description

About the role

The Claude Partner Network relies on specializations to give credentials to consulting firms, systems integrators, and other services partners that demonstrate expertise in specific domain areas. As Partner Specializations Lead, you'll own this program end to end: setting requirements, reviewing evidence, defining benefits, and maintaining credibility.

Your job is to scale the program, open it to thousands of partners, run evaluation cycles, and launch new specializations with cross-functional input. This role suits someone who likes owning a standard and working with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Own each specialization's requirements, evidence standards, and benefits, keeping them current as products and the partner network evolve.
  • Run evaluation cycles: collect partner evidence, reconcile it with internal data, lead reviews, and document decisions.
  • Make and defend qualification decisions, applying standards consistently across firms of different sizes.
  • Communicate outcomes to partner executives and Anthropic account teams, providing clear guidance for non-qualifying firms.
  • Open the program to the wider partner network and recommend new specializations based on customer demand, partner readiness, and Anthropic priorities.
  • Define evidence standards for new specializations with Applied AI, Product, and industry go-to-market teams.
  • Coordinate teams delivering program benefits, ensuring earning a specialization leads to tangible results.
  • Work with Partner Enablement to align partner learning paths and certifications with specializations.
  • Establish the operating rhythm, including renewals, remediation periods, appeals, and tracking/reporting.
  • Design a scalable review process using Claude and automation.
  • Write and maintain clear partner-facing guidance and internal documentation.
  • Use program data to inform requirement adjustments and present recommendations to partner leadership.

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience owning an external-facing program with published requirements.
  • Experience making qualification decisions and communicating them to senior external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with CRM or PRM data.
  • Strong writing skills for producing clear program requirements and guidance.
  • Experience leading cross-team projects to a deadline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Passion for Anthropic's mission to develop safe and beneficial AI.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience designing or running a partner competency program at a technology company.
  • Experience with services partners (systems integrators, consultancies).
  • SQL or BI-tool skills for analyzing program data.
  • Experience launching a program publicly with marketing and communications partners.
  • Technical depth to assess partner evidence of software or AI deployments.
  • Experience working with customers in regulated industries.
  • Experience designing partner benefits or incentives.
  • Hands-on experience building AI workflows with Claude or similar tools.

The annual compensation range for this role is $300,000-$365,000 USD.
