Description
As a Business Development Representative at 1Password, you play a crucial role in driving the sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and managing inbound leads. You will be the first point of contact for current customers and prospects, laying the groundwork for meaningful sales conversations and long-term partnerships.
The ideal candidate has 0-1+ years of relevant customer-facing experience, preferably in sales or related roles, and demonstrates a genuine interest in a sales career. You should possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, business acumen, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Identify and engage high-potential prospects through strategic outbound prospecting activities
- Qualify inbound leads generated through marketing efforts
- Conduct engaging conversations with prospects to understand their business challenges
- Research and gather information on target accounts to create outreach strategies
- Create a qualified pipeline for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate records of activities and prospect interactions within the CRM system
- Collaborate with Account Executives and sales managers to prioritize outreach efforts and refine approaches
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities generated
