Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Portfolio Lead at GDIT. You'll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Here, your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a technical evaluation of software development projects, reviewing requirements to ensure system compatibility for optimal system performance
- Collaborating with business users to triage requirements and perform current state system analysis
- Completing written functional and technical specifications of modern and legacy systems
- Providing weekly status reports regarding security assessment status, software release and integration initiatives
- Working with Agile Development teams to ensure business and technical requirements are integrated into product backlogs
- Leading and managing development teams
- Responding to customer taskings across a wide range of topics and providing responses within mandated time frames
- Drafting project briefings, conceptual whitepapers, program planning, and other foundational documents
- Overseeing and providing guidance to peer and subordinate staff and developing strategic plans for current and future activities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Strong foundational understanding of modern web-based application architectures, AWS Cloud computing services
- Experience managing a team of ~15-20 employees
