Description
Leidos Defense is seeking a talented Electro-Mechanical Technician for the Product Integration Section to lead a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and customers to design and build hardware to meet unique technical requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpreting drawings and using critical thinking to build and fabricate production and prototype hardware
- Testing and deploying the hardware
- Working effectively on a team with diverse skillsets in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrating good communication skills and a willingness to take on a variety of duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of applicable experience
- Experience in reading schematic drawings and other manufacturing documentation
- Experience building electrical and/or mechanical systems
- IPC-WHMA-A-620 training or the ability to perform cable fabrication work
- Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville-North Alabama area
- US Citizen with a Final Secret Clearance or eligible to obtain one
