Description
This role is responsible for owning product quality and defining and implementing AI-first engineering and automated validation solutions for the Account Information Platform.
The successful candidate will bring an AI-first and agent-first approach to quality engineering by identifying, designing, and implementing agentic AI use cases across test design, automation, execution, analysis, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading an AI-first, agents-first approach to testing by identifying and implementing agentic AI patterns for requirements analysis, test design, code generation, test-data preparation, execution orchestration, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and quality reporting.
- Defining the automation strategy, framework design, engineering standards, and scalable patterns for validating account-information journeys across web interfaces, APIs, services, data flows, and integrations.
- Designing and developing critical automation components, reusable libraries, utilities, AI-enabled testing tools, and test agents using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and scripting languages.
- Partnering with developers and architects to embed testability, observability, security, reliability, and automated quality gates throughout design, development, CI/CD, release, and production validation.
- Building and maintaining reliable risk-based regression capabilities, driving effective execution and result analysis, and using engineering metrics and root-cause analysis to reduce escaped defects, flaky tests, and repetitive manual effort.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven ability to define and implement agentic AI approaches for software testing.
- Strong agents-first mindset, with the ability to identify where AI agents can improve coverage, engineering productivity, decision-making, and delivery confidence.
- Practical experience with generative AI, coding assistants, prompt engineering, agent workflows, tool integration, and evaluation of AI-generated code and test artefacts.
- Minimum 14 years of IT industry experience, with substantial hands-on experience in software development, test engineering, product-quality ownership, and delivery of complex business-critical systems.
- Expert-level programming skills in Java, with the ability to develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and production-quality automation code and engineering frameworks.
