We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with significant experience in planning consultancy to join our team in Bristol. As an Associate Director Planning Consultancy, you will provide high-quality planning advice to clients at all stages of the development process, work with multidisciplinary teams, lead client meetings, manage projects, and support junior staff.
The Planning Consultancy team in Bristol specialises in providing commercial planning advice to a wide range of private sector clients, working on projects such as complex city centre regeneration sites, tall buildings, strategic housing promotion, and major infrastructure and energy schemes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality planning advice to clients
- Working with multidisciplinary teams on planning projects
- Leading client meetings
- Project management and budgetary control
- Supporting more junior staff
- Collaborating with WSP colleagues to deliver multidisciplinary advice
- Managing key client relationships
- Leading tenders and framework bids
- Active business development and profile raising
