At MongoDB, our Account Development team works closely with partners in Sales and Marketing to build customer enthusiasm.
ADR reps identify and qualify new opportunities for the sales organization.
We view our Account Development program as a way to turbocharge a long and successful career in sales.
The Opportunity

Day to Day
- Identify high-potential businesses that would be a good fit for MongoDB
- Work with the Sales team to develop and lead inbound and outbound campaigns
- Develop strong sales and product knowledge
- Interact with IT and business decision makers via telephone and email
- Update lead and prospect activity in Salesforce
- Set qualified introductory meetings for the Sales team
- Nurture early-phase opportunities
- Exceed monthly and quarterly opportunity quota
- Build strong relationships with Marketing and Account Executives
- Invest in self-development
What You Will Bring to the Table
- Self-starter with a track record of hitting and exceeding goals
- Outstanding communication skills in German (native) and English (fluent)
- Time management skills and ability to work independently or through coaching
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and high-growth environment
- Passionate about cutting-edge technology
Things We Love
- Strong academic background: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or related field
- Proven track record of success in sales or business development
- Familiarity with database, web server, and open-source technology
