Description
We are seeking a Senior Product and Proposition Manager to manage and develop existing and new products and/or services. You will develop the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer level strategies and solutions tailored to customers' needs.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team and guide stakeholders at all levels in the Bank.
- Develop product propositions and service strategies, define priorities and lead execution.
- Develop commercial and business models through understanding of financial drivers.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance and potential risks.
- Monitor market trends and analyse feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments.
- Monitor key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns and customer satisfaction.
Vice President Expectations
- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
- Plan resources, budgets and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes.
- Deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.
- Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought.
Requirements
- Commercial Acumen: understanding of P&L and unit economics.
- Product Data & Analytics: translate customer, operational and commercial data into actionable insights.
- AI Literacy and Delivery: identify and apply AI opportunities to improve customer outcomes.
This role will be based in our London 1CP office.
