Description
Capital One's Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Principal Associate to join the Staff & Strategy Professional Talent Acquisition Recruiting Team. The successful candidate will source and build technical talent pipelines, manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to Talent Acquisition teams, and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand their Data Science and Data Analysis talent needs
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, including creating position descriptions, sourcing candidates, marketing Capital One's talent brand, screening candidates, advising business partners, and negotiating job offers
- Develop and execute sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent
- Work cross-functionally with a team of high-performing recruiters
- Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners
- Source stellar candidates using innovative sourcing techniques
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification
- 4+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting
- 1+ year of technical recruiting experience
- 4+ years of experience consulting with multiple hiring managers
- Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
- Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
The role is designated as hybrid, requiring adherence to Capital One's hybrid policy regarding required on-site presence.
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900 Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation.
